Now you can broadcast a new discussion post to your entire Hub once a day, keeping everyone in the loop with important updates, announcements, or special content. Just select the “Notify all members about this post” option, and we’ll send notifications via email, in-Hub alerts, and mobile push—all at once! Think of it like a supercharged "@everyone" feature to make sure no one misses a thing. This awesome tool is available on the Grow plan and higher, so you can easily share your message with every single member, every day!
We’ve made it easier than ever to share YouTube videos directly in your discussion posts and comments. Simply paste a YouTube link into the embed field, and it’ll instantly appear in your discussion—no hassle, no extra steps. Whether you’re sharing tutorials, announcements, or fun content, this feature makes your posts more engaging. And with support for Membership.io video links coming soon, you’ll have even more ways to enhance your discussions!
Your library Copilot has gotten a big upgrade! We’ve fixed some bugs with descriptions showing in the wrong language, but the real game-changer is the new support for timestamps. Now, you can ask Copilot questions about specific content in a video, and it will give you the exact timestamps you need. Want to jump straight to a key moment or topic? Copilot will take you right there. It’s faster, more accurate, and more powerful with this new timestamp tech.
We’re excited to announce that our platform has fully rebranded to Membership.io from Searchie. You’ll notice a fresh, modern style and updated visuals throughout the platform. As we continue this process, you’ll notice Searchie logos, text, and branding being removed to reflect our new identity. We’re thrilled for you to experience Membership.io!
We’ve made posting in Hubs quicker and easier! Now, you don’t need to worry about adding a title to a post and instead can jump straight into writing. When you create a new post, the input focus will automatically be on the body, so you can start typing right away and share your thoughts with others in the Hub faster.
We’ve added a handy "Show More/Show Less" button to help you manage long sidebar descriptions on the Discussion Page. This will help you keep longer parts of the community description, like a "Rules" or "Guidelines" section, from taking up too much space and pushing important content down the page. The button appears after the first line break, giving you full control over how much text is shown at once.
We’ve made the Hub header sticky to improve your navigation experience, especially on mobile. Now, the header will appear as soon as you scroll up, so you can easily access menu options without having to scroll back to the top. This is super useful when browsing through discussions or content-heavy areas of your Hub, keeping everything you need right at your fingertips!
We’ve made it easier to jump right into conversations! Now, when you’re redirected to a comment from a notification or link, the page will automatically scroll to the comment section.
Hub Members’ Activity Not Updating: Fixed an issue where some Hub members' activity was incorrectly resetting to zero despite their active participation.

Hubs
Major changes from the 2024.14, 2024.15, and 2024.16 versions of the platform are included in this post.
You can now add images and attachments in Hub Comments! This feature makes sharing visual content and resources easier within your community. Easily add files by dragging and dropping them into the comments area or by copying and pasting images and files directly into your comments.
We're excited to introduce Hub Homepage Switching! Now you can choose which page of your Hub serves as the default homepage your audience sees when they log in or click the logo. Easily spotlight new products, promote special areas, or change things up without hassle. And stay tuned—soon you'll be able to set the upcoming community discussion forum as your homepage for even more flexibility.
We introduced a new header menu layout option for Hubs that combines the best features of the other menu layouts. The new layout ensures that all menu items are visible in a single row, with the search bar conveniently accessible above it. This design simplifies navigation, making it easier for you to set up your Hub and for your members to navigate it. Alongside the ability to switch the Default Homepage of the Hub and customize the 'Home' item in the menu, navigating and setting up the structure of your Hub has never been simpler.
We've significantly improved the Hub Comment Logs (Beta). You can still sign up for this feature by commenting on this post and requesting access here. Issues with replying to comments from the logs area have been resolved, and clicking on media now takes you directly to the media page in the Hub. Additionally, clicking on an audience profile in the logs area will open their profile details immediately instead of redirecting you to the audience page.
With the homepage now updatable, we’ve made it easier to customize the label of the corresponding menu item in the header. While you can’t delete this vital part of your Hub, you can easily see which page is currently set as the homepage and update its label.
Clicking away from the Hub switcher now closes it, and selecting a Hub from the list opens it in the same tab. These updates greatly enhance the overall user experience, especially on mobile devices.
We’ve made a variety of UI fixes, tweaks, and updates to enhance the commenting experience, making it easier than ever to keep up with your community on the go. The clickable area for commenting has been increased for better usability on certain devices, buttons have been repositioned for prominence, and several dropdown bugs have been fixed. Additionally, the layout and visuals of the audience profile on mobile devices have been improved.
Comment Spacing: Newline spacing while typing a comment now matches spacing after submitting the comment.
Mentions in Replies: ‘@audience’ mentions are now properly added when replying to comments in the Logs Area.
Comment Newlines: Automatically remove additional newlines at the end of comments to maintain a clean look.
Notification Pagination: Fixed an issue where additional notifications would not load when scrolling to the bottom of the notification side panel.
Unclickable Menus: Fixed an issue where header and footer menu items could be clicked while making changes in the Hub Editor.
Showing Attachments at a Glance: Fixed an issue where the attachments icon would not show on files in the Library unless clicked.
Complex Segments: Segments with multiple filter groups are now working correctly.
Transcript Editor UI: Icons in the transcript editor no longer overlap on smaller screens.
Facebook Sync: Fixed an issue preventing videos from being imported via Facebook.
Playlist Editor: Editing the playlist title and description in the Hub customizer now works correctly.
Attributes Segment: The 'Attributes' segment now displays the actual attribute when saved.
Video Title Search: Fixed an issue with video title search not working for specific types of videos.
European Portuguese Transcription: Transcription in European Portuguese now functions correctly.
Welcome Emails: Welcome emails will no longer be sent to canceled users if the same price is assigned to a different Hub.
Duplicate Content Tags: Implemented logic to remove duplicate content tags generated by Copilot.
Image Overlay: Fixed an issue where images posted in comments had a hazy/blurry overlay.
To go along with these spotlighted updates, a large number of minor improvements and bug fixes were included in this release across the entire platform.

We’ve made several more improvements to the commenting interface in Hubs:
Thread Line Clarity: We’ve fine-tuned the little line indicator for comment threads, making it super clear which replies belong to which parent comment.
Natural Flow: The timestamp, like, reply, edit, and delete options have been relocated and updated to create a more natural flow of information and interaction.
Better Readability: Mentioned profiles in comments now look sharper and are easier to read.
Mobile Magic: On mobile devices, the text area for typing new comments or replies now sticks to the keyboard at the bottom of the screen, making it a breeze to communicate on the go.
We’ve revamped the way dates are handled in "relative" segments and filters (i.e. "Less Than", "Exactly", "More Than"). These conditions will now use calendar dates rather than exact timestamps to segment audience members. Plus, we’ve added some nifty new indicators to the Filter Audience slide-in to explain these changes and give you important info about your segment conditions.
Prevented content from being copied when duplicating Hub templates.
Fixed the issue preventing automated welcome emails for new paid subscriptions.
Resolved duplication issues in audience entries coming from connected apps.
Reintroduced the missing margin top
option for feature section buttons.
Improved the UI to handle long links within comments.
Adjusted the UI on the progress indicator for feature sections for better alignment.

We are excited to announce a beta program for our new Hub Comment Logs. This feature allows Hub admins to view any unread comments and reply directly to users from a dedicated page in the Hub Settings, without needing to go into the Hub or wait for a mention or reply notification. This is a powerful tool for managing large and very active Hubs efficiently. To sign up for the Beta, subscribe to our changelog for updates and reply to this post requesting access. Please provide any feedback you have directly on that post as well.
We’ve improved the commenting experience yet again by adding mobile push notifications for mentions and replies in comments. Available to our Hub mobile app early adopters, this feature enables audience members using a Hub mobile app to receive built-in push notifications for comments and community interactions. Sign up at searchie.io/mobile to join the waitlist for the mobile app program and keep your community engaged and connected on the go.
Widget Removal: Fixed the issue where removing the last widget or plugin from the apps slide-in did not load the empty state in view.

Video Player Transcriptions: Resolved an issue where the video player was picking up older, edited transcription files instead of the latest ones.
Attachment Links Visibility: Fixed the issue where links, as attachments, did not show up in the 'Library > Attachments' folder but appeared when a filter was applied.
Audience Filter Results: Resolved the problem where audience filters returned inconsistent results after each application.
Video Thumbnails Alignment: Fixed the uneven alignment of video thumbnails in scroll sections caused by multi-line titles.
Hub Deletion View: Addressed the glitchy view when deleting a Hub from the dashboard.
Replace Video Functionality: Resolved the issue where replacing a video created a new transcription but didn’t switch the video to the new transcription.
Email Notifications Toggle: Fixed the bug where email notifications were sent despite the "Receive Email Notifications" toggle being off.

Mention Other Audience Members
You can now mention other audience members in your comments and replies. Just type '@' followed by the person’s name to mention them. They’ll receive an immediate notification, prompting them to check out the comment and join the discussion. This feature makes it easy to engage people in conversations, ensuring they don’t miss important information.
Reply to Replies
Now, you can reply to replies, which will automatically mention the original commenter in your new reply. This allows you to continue discussion threads more coherently and ensures that everyone can keep up with the responses. It’s perfect for maintaining clear, structured conversations within your Hubs.
Notification Management
We've improved notification management by adding an unread status to each notification. Members can easily manage their notifications by clicking each one to view the related content. If they prefer not to go through each notification individually, they can mark all notifications as read with a single action. This enhancement helps members stay organized and ensures they don’t miss any important updates.
Private Profile Update
We’ve simplified the profile privacy settings in Hubs. Members can now easily control whether their personal information is viewable on their profile.
